Figments are one of a kind hand made characters. Each character is made from fabrics that attracted me in the color, weave, and design. Their personalities take shape as each character is sewn and put together. Their clothes give them their attitude, which allows them to express their moods and emotions to us differently.

The birth of Figments, began with a small passion for shoes. As for many of us, appreciating a sneaker, from design, to color, or to just simply a good shoe, is not hard. Several of us have had collections grow from five pairs to close to a hundred in just a few years, and some of us, (okay maybe it's just me) started collecting baby sneakers as well. With our surrounding culture and other influences, creation was provoked, and combined with a sneaker fetish........ Figments.

Figments has become a canvas for me, allowing me to play with silhouttes, colors, fabrics, and fit. It's given me back a little creativity that we tend to lose when we get caught up. I'm hoping to inspire, spark a thought or two, and simply make something that looks good.
